Trekking the Restless West
This is a major work in progress. I'm migrating all my hike and trip photo albums to this website, and it's going to take a lot of work to get them here. I've hiked countless trails and taken just as many trips near and far over the last decade, and all those trip photo albums will eventually be posted here with captions and trip information. I haven't had a chance to post all the captions to these photos yet, so most appear here with little explanation. If you'd like to know where a certain shot was taken, just shoot me an email. Many of these images are just snapshots, and none of them are for sale unless they appear in my online fine art photography galleries. This page will be constantly evolving, and all my images from future trips will be posted here.
Rocky Mountain National Park is about an hour from my home in Fort Collins, so we've explored the park very, very well over the years. These are some of the most memorable hikes.

Stormy Pass • September 2010 — A hike through the Comanche Peak Wilderness near Pingree Park to one of Rocky Mountain National Park's most remote mountain passes. We did this on the busiest day of the year for one of the busiest national parks in the country, and we didn't see another person on the entire hike.
Trail Ridge Road Ice Removal • May 24, 2010 — Images from an NPS press trip to watch the annual snow removal operation in action on Trail Ridge Road. By this date in 2012, the road had already been open for nearly two weeks.
