RESTLESS WEST PHOTOGRAPHY NEWS "Hold On" selected for Center for Fine Art Photography's "Urban Landscape" exhibition
This image, "Hold On," has been selected to be part of the Center for Fine Art Photography's "Urban Landscape" exhibition, which runs from Nov. 30, 2012 through Jan. 5, 2013. Mark your calendars: The Center will be holding its opening reception 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at the Center's gallery, 400 N. College Ave. in Fort Collins. "Hold On" will be exhibited among 54 images by photographers from all over the world. I'll be the exhibition's only Fort Collins photographer and among only six from Colorado. Click here for a full look at all the images being featured in the exhibition. Photographed on a San Francisco cable car in 2010, this is my first image ever to be selected in a juried exhibition. Introducing "Landscapes" — A Celebration of the Restless West
Two years ago, I created Restless West Photography to promote and sell my photography. Today, I present to you "Landscapes" — 72 pages of my best landscape photography from the last five years. This new book features my favorite images taken in national parks and other public lands throughout the United States since 2006. The cover features my best-known image, "Trail Ridge Sunset," photographed at Rocky Mountain National Park in 2009. Inside, you'll find images from Death Valley, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon, Glacier National Park and Northern Colorado's hidden gems — the Pawnee Buttes, Soapstone Prairie and much more.
